Grants Program
Grants provide an opportunity for additional funding beyond the initial Award term. The overarching goal is to assist organizations in building long-term sustainability by making available general operating support. Grants support community outreach, ongoing campaigns, services and advocacy work in New York City.
Since its inception, the regrants programs has distributed a variety of grants including general operating support, project, renewals, special achievement and mini grants to expand outreach, build organizational capacity, and foster collaboration among grassroots organizations.
The 2012 General Operating Support (GOS) and Renewals Grant programs are the final grantmaking programs of the Union Square Awards. Application instructions will be sent to eligible prior Award recipients directly.
