Grants Program

The Union Square Awards grants program is open to Award recipients only.  Regrants provide an opportunity for additional funding beyond the initial Award term.  The overarching goal is to assist organizations in building long-term sustainability by making available general operating support. Grants support community outreach, ongoing campaigns, services and advocacy work in New York City. The Union Square Awards staff sends information and guidelines to all eligible organizations about available grant opportunities.

Since its inception, the regrants programs has distributed a variety of grants including general operating support, project, renewals, special achievement and mini grants to expand outreach, build organizational capacity, and foster collaboration among grassroots organizations.
