UNION SQUARE AWARD NOMINATION & SELECTION
The Union Square Award recognizes grassroots activists working in New York City in the areas of homelessness and hunger; HIV/AIDS prevention, education and treatment; youth leadership and organizing; family and community development; economic self-sufficiency and conflict resolution.
The Union Square Arts Award seeks to identify New York City-based arts organizations that strengthen youth and families in low-income communities. It supports innovative and on-going programs with youth and families.
Prospective candidates for both the Union Square Award and the Arts Award are identified through a nomination process. Anyone who is familiar with the organization's work may submit a nomination by completing the appropriate forms below. Alternatively, nominators may submit the requested information by fax to 212-213-6372 or mail to Union Square Awards, 281 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10010.
Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed as they are received. The recipients of the Union Square Award are announced in the fall and the recipients of the Union Square Arts Award in the spring.
